Mark Sink - Wheat Paste Party

About the event: Part of Denver’s bi-annual Month of Photography, The Big Picture is a project whose mission is to connect the public to fine art photography in open-air settings with large murals wheat-pasted on walls.
Through invitation and call for entry, The Big Picture selects winning prints for exhibition in Denver, Boulder, and sister cities around the world. Submit to The Big Picture and be a part of our worldwide street art exchange! Email: Bigpicturecolorado@gmail.com.
About the artist: Mark Sink, a private art consultant, represents and curates local and international cutting-edge fine art photography. Mark is a co-founder of The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, founder of the Month of Photography Denver and The Big Picture street art projects and the Denver Collage Club. His personal fine art photography is shown and collected world wide. Currently Mark is specializing in Collodion Wet Plate photography and Collage. Kristen Hatgi Sink and Mark run studio photography services that include, portraits, product, architectural, and fashion.

Ben Coleman - Dance Party
What: Dance Party for early learners and their grown ups

About the event: A dance party for early learners and their grown-ups! Designed by Ben Coleman and Melissa Word, Baby Rave ATL presented by Baby Beats Atlanta, is a sensory dance party designed for young children and their caregivers! Led by a composer/sound artist and a dancer/choreographer, this research-driven experience nurtures early development through movement, music, and playful connection.
About the artist: Ben Coleman is a British multi-disciplinary artist residing in Denver, CO. His practice is multidisciplinary, grounded in sound and performance, and often encompassing other media, including music, dance, video and installation.
After moving to the US in 2006, Coleman instigated a slew of musical projects. Following a number of prolific years in bands and countless side projects, he reintegrated performance art into his practice, alongside new roles as composer, sound designer, and installation artist. His practice has since grown through collaboration to encompass diverse projects with choreographers, visual artists, and theater practitioners, and an increasing range of curatorial projects.
