How to Support Our LGBTQIA+ Community Now
We’re still reeling from the tragedy at Club Q in Colorado Springs this weekend. Our hearts break for the five lives lost and 25 people injured, and for the family, friends, and community members who are feeling the ripples of grief from this devastating act of violence.
We honor the right of every human being to feel safe, respected, and loved. We will continue to provide LGBTQIA+ artists and community members with a space and platform to be seen, represented, and to express themselves through their creative practice.
Below is a list of local and national resources for those in need, as well as ways to contribute to victims' families:
GoFundMe started by Good Judy Garage for funeral costs for the victims' families.
Tracks Denver (hosting a vigil at 7PM on Monday, November 21, 2022).
Diversus Health (offers a 24/7 walk-in crisis center for crisis services and counseling for all ages, regardless of ability to pay).
The Center on Colfax (also hosting a vigil at 7pm on Monday, November 21st).
